Remote Community Connectors
Connecting people with disability and their families with the National Disability Insurance Agency, disability services and support workers
Nirrumbuk Environmental Health and Services is part of Kimberley Supports, a network of Aboriginal community-controlled organisations that support Aboriginal people and families living with disability in the Kimberley.
We provide Remote Community Connectors in the Kullarri and Kutjungka regions.
What is NDIS?
The NDIS can help you if you are struggling to get things done, find it difficult to achieve your goals, or if you are not enjoying life fully because you are not able access the supports and services you need.
Our Remote Community Connectors are members of your community that can help you to:
UNDERSTAND what the NDIS is, who might be eligible and how to access it
LEARN HOW the NDIS can support people with disability
CONTACT your clinic to request an NDIS access form
CONNECT with NDIS workers
Our Remote Community Connectors can help you to access the NDIS (National Disability Insurance Scheme), disability services and support workers. They will ensure that your connection with these services is culturally appropriate and that these services engage and communicate with you and your family in the best possible way.
